i went to a meditation and was looking at the still flame of a candle. when the bowl gonged the flame seemed to swing like a sine wave; maybe i imagined it: i was in an interdependent kind of state.

i saw the title of track 3 as a quote relating to our destruction of the planet. seemed a bit harsh but certainly the normality of consumption is concerning, and how we think the spread of this to other cultures is progress. ha.

two male blackbirds were vying for territory in the garden next door. this happened over a week. they kept shifting position in a complex game with a big pet cat overlooking

(what's natural? to what extent is what we do natural or is a humanistic value of non-violence socially constructed? how can we perceive clearly - outside of our narrow flames?)
